If your Primary or Caucus were being held TODAY and you could only vote for either TED CRUZ or DONALD TRUMP, but not both, and nobody else, who do you vote for and why?
CRUZ
Love what Trumps started and how it's spreading fear in the Left, and would probably vote for him if it came down to him being our last man standing, but really hope he sticks around to become an adviser for the Cruz Presidency.
And you must be for jebito. I’ll enjoy watching you rationalize why we GOTTA vote for jebito when he’s the last one standing.
And conversely I’ll try to remember you when you’re crying the blues come next spring. So are you going to stand in line to pick jebito in November 2016? Or piaps?
Because Your Vote Really Matters.
I will stay home Election Day if Jeb, Rubio, Christie, Graham or any number of RINOs are the standard bearers. I will vote for the republican, hopefully Cruz.....but would vote also for Walker and probably Trump if he made the cut.
Ted Cruz. No question.
Ted Cruz.
I believe no one else has the knowledge of the Constitution and the understanding of the founding fathers that he does.
Cruz and the Constitution, yesterday, today and tomorrow.
I’m for Ted. Ted will do just fine with or without Trump. Bob
Really? What legislation has Trump supported which has helped America? And Ted has never contributed to Hillary or Shumer.
VP -
Walker / Carly Fiorina / Perry / Jindal
(Would these 3 Governors play 2nd fiddle to a Senator)
The more I see and hear Carly, I like her.
She handles herself just as well as Trump.
If the wrestlers refused to play by the bogus rules, it would be a different game. Sorta like what Trump and Cruz are doing....
Cruz.
He’s the best and most solid conservative candidate since Reagan; I believe he might be even better. In addition to his conservative cred, he’s a brilliant man who actually enjoys fighting with the left and the media. But he does so coolly, sharply, and with intelligence.
I’ll never vote for Trump. He’s a liberal Democrat; he said as much when he went on “Morning Joe” last week.
In addition to that, I’ve just never liked him. He’s always seemed sleazy to me. When I recently found out about the gross things he said to Michelle Malkin a couple of years ago, I had my confirmation that he is, indeed, a sleazebag.
Ted Cruz, aside from his intelligence, courage, education, knowledge of our Constitution and and how to apply it. His communication skills, his record of supporting the Constitution and Conservative values, that he has consistently supported the same Conservative views and our Bill of Rights without backtracking. His common sense, his views on illegal immigration, amnesty, defending our borders, national defense, military, foreign affairs. I believe he’s a righteous man and if we ever needed a Righteous and courageous leader, it’s now. Senator Cruz is by far the best of the best.
Cruz!!!!
Neither.
Cruz.
If I wanted a northeastern liberal billionaire I’d write in Mitt Romney.
Might benefit you to read the flames you got, before taking them as personal affronts. Critiques are a good teaching method.
Fair enough. And you might also learn from the very, very few people on FR who are openly against voting.
Here is a thought experiment. No need to respond, just think about it. Take a hard look at every Federal election since 1984. See if there is even one where the results would be markedly different for us as a nation if the other candidate won. Or if the other so-called party won.
Would the size or scope of government be significantly different? Would we be any less monitored? Would infanticide be any less legal? If you truly believe that the answers to any of those questions are YES then by gosh, you absolutely should vote.
If not, then be forewarned: you’re already on the road to heresy.
LOL!! Well put!
