A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. Reverent | Definition of reverent by Merriam-Webster www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/reverent Merriam‑Webster Full Definition of REVERENT. : expressing or characterized by reverence : worshipful. rev·er·ent·ly adverb. See reverent defined for English-language learners. I think the Scout Law intended "reverent" to worshipful of God, but what do I know. Maybe sodomites are worshipful to a god of sexual gratification? Scouting is done. Sorry everyone about the paragraphs, I made paragraphs but my preview shows I did not, but here goes.
