He was lucky that he got prompt care from Britain’s socialized medicine system. He could have been treated by some foreign trained doctor who misdiagnosed the snakebite and then waited 6 months for anti-venom.
You beat me to it...amazing that his local NIH hospital had anti-venom in stock. Thought you normally went on a waiting list for that in the UK.
