Well stated.
Under this administration, we have Americans left to languish as captives of Iran, Americans indifferently left to die at the hands of terrorists in Libya, Americans at risk of sudden death on their own streets from invading illegal aliens and cosseted international lunatics of all stripes, American lives squandered in half-hearted wars fought not to win but to enrich the likes of Clinton, Blumenthal, et al.
Meanwhile, the feds look at the Bill of Rights as a target list rather than the no-go zone the Framers intended. Property seized without trial or warrant. Privacies invaded at every opportunity. A de facto nobility, immune from the law, and entitled to the fruits of our labors, erected over us. A massive army of millions of unaccountable bureaucratic dictators set upon us.
Half the nation is intent on committing cultural and economic suicide. They are possessed by a madness akin to that of the Xhosas of the 1860's. They believe that somehow the economic ruin and rivers of blood that are the legacy of socialism's family of pathologies can be avoided this time if only the right people are in charge. Or, they are so ignorant of history as to not know of the misery, carnage and death meted out, in socialism's name, in wholesale quantities since the Paris Terror.
It is time to look at the Declaration again. To read it. To really understand the propositions asserted there. To take stock of where we now stand in respect to those propositions. To not recoil from our conclusions and to determine what is to be done. Are we all obligated to join in the national suicide or do the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness permit us - even require us - to separate from the crazies and thus save ourselves?
This country is being surgically disemboweled.
0bama's second duty was to faithfully execute the laws of the land. He has failed.
0bama's third duty was to protect the people and the states from invasion. He has failed.
Any other president who was 0-3 would be impeached.
