And the teachers probably can teach math. From what I have seen both from my college years and as a parent, the educational requirements to be a teacher aren’t too high here. It takes a lot more to pass med school, unless obama are has dumbed down the standards in order to be fair.
South Korea had to pass laws to keep kids from studying too much at those private night schools (after school, go to study at a hakwon). They can still study on their own of course.
