A lot of them do. A Forbes article said that Walmart employees alone get $6.4 billion a year in public assistance including food stamps. Fast food workers get another $7 billion. Link
I work in manufacturing ... a lot of our assembly “associates” get government assistance. They also get a lot of goodies at “tax time” when they get their refund.
As they are talking about expensive electronics, flat screen TVs and all, I can’t help thinking “Glad I could help ...” :-/
