Would you tell more about your experience at the fireworks in NYC?
Saw earlier on the PIX news that people were grabbing spots this afternoon.
I took a more distant spot on 23rd Street, further back from the river. It’s a shorter walk, and you don’t have to fight through crowds to leave at the end.
I saw a lot of patriotic gear, and the mood was relaxed. The cops made a half-hearted pretense of searching backpacks, but everybody was cool.
