Yes of course nomination comes first! But is’nt nomination based on primary election WINS? Are you saying majority of republican voters are not concerned about economy and jobs as their top issues during the primary process?

No, just that a large minority of the GOP electorate, the base of the GOP, holds their morality ABOVE their jobs. You see, they are Christians first, Conservatives 2nd, and Republicans last.

And frankly, Trump needs to put his morality above his money and his friends as well.

IF Trump wants to truly be POTUS, and not just act as a spoiler, he will need these voters.

IF, as the Trump supporters are wont to say, Trump is not afraid to take the unpopular stand on an issue, WHY is he shying away from this issue?

Does he really want to win?

If he does, he WILL Engage on this issue.

Like you, I am all in for Cruz. Like you, I despised McCain when he was the nominee... I remember how you railed against the dangerous fool.

Cruz may not be able to win the nomination though... he has many enemies in the GOPe and the MSM will squeal that he is the anti-Christ. He also may lack the funds. He may not be able to attract a small but needed slice from the usual democrat support base to win. He is a long way from being the likely nominee, that status belongs to Jeb! :-(

If Trump sticks with his current position that he is in favor of traditional marriage and also proclaims that the SC decision was in error since it was a state issue and not a federal issue will that satisfy you? Or is that insufficient? Must he rend his clothes on live TV and proclaim that he will burn himself alive unless the SC reverses its ill-conceived judgment?

I will pose a question for you that I know you will refuse to answer.

If it came down to you alone to decide the 2016 election and it was Trump vs Hillary what would you do. If you abstain or vote for anyone but Trump then Hillary wins. What would you do? Can you man-up and choose, and tell us what you would do? I doubt it.. you will take the “I refuse to answer a silly hypothetical question” way out.

This nation is no longer a free republic. If Hillary takes office we are finished. I will cast a vote for whoever runs against her... I will even stoop so low as to vote for Jeb!
I hope I can vote for Cruz but I won’t be silly enough to refuse to vote for the eventual republican nominee regardless of who that is... this is not the time for such antics. This is the time to claw our way back, bit by bit, any way we can. Anything that maintains the status quo or moves us left is bad, anything that moves us right is good.
