An amazing article written by Victor Davis Hanson was just posted at the National Review that is chock-full of truth on the topics of sexism, racism, and how they are ultimately tied to leftism. The opening paragraph articulates the truth on Governor Palin (in comparison to Hillary Clinton) in a way I have never seen before:
[T]he frequent charge of racism and sexism is predicated not so much on one’s gender and race as on one’s gender, race, and politics. Certainly, few on the left worried much about the slurs against Sarah Palin during and after her vice-presidential run. America’s overclass in the media and leftist politics constructed a sexist portrait of a clueless white-trash mom in Wasilla, Alaska, mindlessly having lots of kids after barely graduating from the University of Idaho. Even Bill Maher’s and David Letterman’s liberal armor would not have withstood leftist thrusts had, mutatis mutandis, the former called Hillary Clinton a c–t or the latter disparaged Ms. Clinton as “slutty flight attendant” and joked that, when a teen, Chelsea Clinton had had sexual relations with a Yankee baseball player in the dugout. Ironically it was the by-her-own-bootstraps lower-middle-class Palin who braved the frontier, no-prisoners, male world to become governor of Alaska; in real terms, she is the true feminist. In contrast, according to doctrinaire feminism, Hillary Clinton does not measure up. She has largely clung, in mousy fashion, to her two-timing husband, excused his serial and manipulative philandering with young women of less clout and power, traded on his political nomenclature, and piggy-backed on his career.
[Emphasis mine]
There is much more to the terrific article and I encourage you to read the entire piece here.

No, Palin will NEVER be a “true” feminist - only a man-hating, anti-Christian she-boon can be a true feminist.
Off subject...did you ever notice, Palin included, the woman Fox news are georgeous and MORE IMPORTANTLY everyone of those babes is well accomplished.
Well, the feminists are an ugly lot inside and out.
Now I am the first to say that looks are not important! Just saying....sometimes you just have to get things off your chest. No pun intended. LOL
Which one would you rather grow old with?
Fake feminists cannot stand her because she is a true feminist and a real person (flaws and all) not some creation of a political branding machine.
In the same way too many blacks hate blacks who are successful and conservative, too many women hate women who are successful and conservative.
It just chaps their hides to no end. There is really no getting around it either. They will never understand the power of the individual over identity politics.
Just staying abreast of things, right?
Oh and Sara Palin didn't go around busting the balls of her husband or the men around her on her way to power.... now Hillary
....Truth is Feminism of the left is more about ball busting men/ tearing them down rather then letting women up
But with most everything on the left there "equality" is about tearing down someone.. not letting some one else get up
Dont be a boob now.
LOL
OMG too nice outside to be inside is all.
Thanks for the laugh. Going to lunch and Rush.
xo
Yep, no family name, no family money, no famous or wealthy husband, not even a famous event to use as a catapult into politics or leadership, Palin is the real deal, from the PTA, to the leader she is today.
With the turn NR has taken, I’m surprised they allow VDH to continue writing for them. He’s one of a few still there that I like.
