They're always welcome to come see us in rural Michigan. I had a black female come to my jail during the state fair and she said she could never live "out here" because there are too many trees. This is 40 miles from Anchorage...hardly a wilderness area.

I live in the most heavily populated part of Michigan but its pretty rural once you get away from the inner state. If you get north of Lansing it gets much more sparsely populated and continues all the way to Lake Superior.
Sarah Palin said it reminded her of Alaska.
