I was with some mom’s who were complaining about how horrible common core math is being taught. One mom said it ruined her 7 year old son as he just didn’t get it and felt like a failure and was determined as such as he failed the math exam. The mom explained that the boy is very logical in thinking and couldn’t handle not be logical.
She went to a technical school to see if he could get in there, no, not accepting any more as they are booked forever.
So many kids in pubic school are bailing out of public school to technical schools so they don’t have to go through Common Core.
