The NFL could go the way of NASCAR, which has had big declines in attendance in recent years. Ten years ago, NASCAR was flying high, but now I see a lot of empty seats, and they are even downsizing the seating capacity at some of the tracks.
Auto racing in general doesn't have the following it used to have - the top Indy Car drivers used to be household names, now most people have barely heard of ANY of them.
