Peter Schweizer’s “Clinton Cash” links Bill and Hillary Clinton through their work at the Clinton Foundation and State Department to all manner of unsavory characters, including authoritarian leaders, African warlords and businessmen with dubious backgrounds, in addition to more respectable Clinton political operatives and supporters who in Schweizer’s writing paid the Clintons and enriched themselves by way of projects supported by the Clintons.
One Clinton-linked transaction however implicates another figure: presumed 2016 GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
In a chapter titled “Disaster Capitalism,” Schweizer explores the dealings of the Clinton Foundation — in league with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — in Haiti following the devastating January 2010 earthquake that claimed the lives of approximately 230,000 people.
In the wake of the disaster, the Clintons immersed themselves in the relief effort, helping procure and allocate funds towards activities such as cleaning debris, fixing roads, and arranging deals for things like building telecommunications infrastructure and constructing homes, with varying degrees of success but almost universal financial rewards for those connected in one way or another with the Clintons.
It is in the area of home construction where former Florida Governor Jeb Bush appears.

Remember when daddy Bush stated on camera that Bill Clinton was like his adopted son? Obviously the Bush family and Clintons have more in common than just politics. If I recall correctly, Daddy Bush and Slick paired up and were in charge of the world’s donated relief funds for the Indonesian earthquake. Given the lack of oversight since they were two ex US presidents, they both very likely made huge bank on that disaster. The Bushes and the Clintons seem to attach themselves to natural disasters like Obozo, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson do when a black thug gets his due. Their motto must be; take the money and run.

CONNECTING THE DOTS Then-Secy Hillary supposedly gave Haiti $3.1 billion tax dollars for Earthquake Relief.
But Haitian-American protesters claim that American aid to Haiti was a cover-for foreign governments to funnel kickbacks of hundreds of millions of dollars to The Clinton Foundation.

They protested the Clinton Foundation b/c it helped lead the reconstruction fund. They claimed that the US State Dept's $10 billion meant to help rebuild Haiti did little to help the country and that much of the US money went to non-Haitian companies.

BACKSTORY The outstanding cable TV anthology show "American Greed" did a segment on Venezuelan fraudster (now jailed) Claudio Osorio. Osorio, a Venezuelan schemer, organized high profile fundraisers, and was in thick w/ Democrats Obama, Hillary and Bill-----and with Jeb Bush.
Osorio donated some $80,000 to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, according to Federal Electoral Commission records.
Osorio also donated mega-bucks to the Clinton Global Initiative Foundation.
Osorio's shell company, Innovida, submitted falsified documents and received $3.5 million in loans from the US govt----the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) supposedly to build homes in Haiti after the catastrophic earthquake. In September 2011, OPIC began questioning Innovida's "negative operating cash flow."
A court appointed receiver in charge of investigating Innovida's finances indicated that "$37.5 million in funds had been moved offshore, but he had so far been unable to find out what happened to the money." Osorio has used his constitutional privilege of invoking the fifth amendment right against self-incrimination when asked if company funds had been used to pay personal expenses.
Osorio was indicted on two counts of wire fraud and one count of major fraud, amongst other charges. Federal prosecutors said Osorio defrauded investors from 2007-10, exaggerating the company's finances and pocketing millions of dollars to fund a lavish lifestyle. The SEC claimed that Osorio had illegally used investor money to pay for a Miami Beach mansion, a Maserati car and a Colorado mountain retreat home.
Jeb Bush agreed to return $270,000 that he was paid as a consultant to convicted fraudster Claudio Osorio and Osorio’s bogus companies.
Jeb Bush honors Hillary on eve of Benghazi 1st year anniversary.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) will honor former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with this year’s Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center.
The award will be presented to Clinton on September 10th, the eve of the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States mission in Benghazi that killed four American.
The Christian Science Monitor reports that Bush, a potential GOP contender in the 2016 presidential race, is chairman of the board of trustees of the National Constitution Center located in Philadelphia.
“Former Secretary Clinton has dedicated her life to serving and engaging people across the world in democracy,” Bush said in a statement. “These efforts as a citizen, an activist, and a leader have earned Secretary Clinton this year’s Defender of Liberty Medal.”

Bush’s decision to honor Clinton, who is considered by some to be a likely Democrat candidate for president in 2016, was condemned by the Independence Hall Tea Party Association of Philadelphia. According to the Christian Science Monitor, the organization released its own statement Monday, referring to the event as “extremely distressing,” and offering, instead, an opportunity for another Liberty Medal recipient.
According to the statement: As all of you undoubtedly know, much of the blame for the Obama Administration’s failure to contain the Benghazi attack and the scandalous handling of its aftermath, can be traced directly to Ms. Clinton.
Indeed, a Congressional investigation regarding Ms. Clinton’s role in the cover-up of the Administration’s failure is still ongoing.
