Those late night visits by the same-sex couples don’t help either.

In a way I would much rather have two gay men and two gay women living in the same house to raise children so the kids at least get exposed to more than just one gender during their formative years.
Seems to me like same sex housholds would have some of the same problems that single parent households have.

We keep hearing that we need more women in congress or in the military or as President. Why? Do women bring some unique value based on their gender? Liberals/feminists do make the argument that there would be less wars, more compassion, etc., if we had more women in power so they imply that there is some unique value in a women's gender.
If so, and I happen to believe that men and women each have unique gifts to offer based on their gender, then wouldn't children benefit more by having both a male and a female parent to each offer their unique value to the child?

The widely circulated claim that same-sex families are no different from intact, heterosexual families is not settled science. New studies suggest that children do best when they are raised by their biological parents in a stable, intact marriage.

Where in nature is the proof of that?
