in WW 2 my dad, 100% Italian heritage went to fight Hitler and Mussolini. his parents came from an enemy country. He was an American...he fought for America...not Italy.
My family are Spaniards from Spain, with one half immigrating to Mexico first, then coming into Texas where I was born.
