I was responding to your point that Ukraine was basically just "Russia" 20 years ago, and the implication in that that Ukraine rightfully belongs to Russia and we should keep our noses out.

Obviously most Ukrainians would differ with your characterization.

As for the whole "you go join the resistance." You sound like anti-war Liberals who say that if we support any war, we ought to go and fight it ourselves.

Ukraine deserves U.S. support because 1) They are a Pro-American country. 2) Russian aggression must be stopped. Georgia was the first domino, now Ukraine, and the Baltics are already being threatened by the Muscovites.

They're going to partition Ukraine....which goes completely unreported in MSM here in the US..... Romania, Belarus, and Hungary looking to take dibs on Ukraine as well as Poland....Ukraine cannot govern itself...thus you'll likely be seeing a partition of the country....they're already speaking of a DMZ line which is the first step. I think Nato is simply using Ukraine as the reason for it's military bases and movement of military etc. throughout the neighboring regions now. Putin's not interested in all of Ukraine...just that which will secure his ports and benefit Crimea and other areas there already in it's control. I think the deals have been struck it's just a matter of making it happen.
