Wonder if he spends any time outside the Home Depot?
Thats not panhandling. Thats hanging out waiting to get a paying job. You don’t see a difference?
The ones at Home Depot, Lowes and similar are seeking work. Is that “panhandling” in your mind?
Yeah but, there they are begging for jobs and not a handout. Big difference.
Those are day laborers-not panhandlers. I’ve seen them out here in BFE at the Home Depot and the lumber yards-they are looking for contractors and subs like me who want to hire day labor-and they work cheaper than most America laborers.
This Latino makes it a practice never to hire illegals-I do not break the law, and there are enough willing workers in this rural area who are native-born Americans-but a lot of contractors do hire them, so there are always a lot of them at the home improvement stores and lumber yard-in the parking lots, early in the AM, when we contractors buy supplies for the days’ jobs...

The Home Depot or Lowes crowd that I’m familiar with are
there early each morning looking for a day labor job.
