Let's take a step back here: they're a protected species. their mayors want to give them "room to destroy". their protectors are trying to take away legal guns.

Riots of this kind only happen in liberal-Democrat controlled areas. And they follow in an almost Kabuki theater type formula.

1) The police are told not to be mean to the rioters. So the rioters run rampant while the cops mostly stand around.

2) Freaked out by it all, the liberals order the police to do something, so they overreact, turning it into a “police riot”, in which anyone and everyone is attacked if they are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

3) The liberals spout endless homilies and platitudes about “healing”, while those who were harmed by the rioters want revenge. Meanwhile, the agitators always hope they can clone the violence elsewhere, but this always fails miserably, because the conditions aren’t right.

Importantly, this nonsense never happens in a conservative led city, because there would be no playing games with the police in the first place. They would be confident in putting down any riotous behavior quickly and in an orderly manner.
