Even if a woman consents to have sex with another adult, according to Guardian author Gaby Hinsliff, it's still likely rape.
In an article titled "Consent is not enough: if you want a sexual partner, look for enthusiasm," Ms. Hinsliff argues that, even if a woman says she would like to have sex with you, if she does not do it enthusiastically, you are a rapist.
Hinsliff's subtitle reads, "The furore over rape prosecution guidance from the CPS shows we need a new understanding of sexual relationships."
The article goes on to argue that men are still rapists even if their sexual partner explicitly consented to sex with them. Ms. Hinsliff argues that if the woman agreed to sex, but did not do so "enthusiastically," her sexual partner raped them.
..."Dont look for consent in a sexual partner," Ms. Hinsliff explains, "because thats too low a bar. Look for enthusiasm."

I think it's perfectly logical.
“... if you don’t do it enthusiastically, it is rape”.
So do I buy glo sticks, a tambourine and glitter? Is that showing enough enthusiasm?! Do I make a huge banner and display it in the bedroom?
My god the woman species is becoming terrifying and we need to stay away from them, can’t we just clone men and be done with it.
What if a woman just consents to lesbian action? Is that rape?
What if the other woman is a transgender male? does pre-op Vs. post-op make a difference?
I think I am going to need a full matrix of consent/enthusiasm for each type of liberal gender combination to see if this is fair.
Laz - I think the ball is in your court. You are the only one that can sort this out. (You are best qualified on FR.)
I don’t know that this relates to the subject at hand. But it’s a funny story. Sick. But funny. Anyway:
Years ago one of my managers was fooling around with this beautiful young blonde who worked with us. Bat shit crazy. But beautiful. Eventually she attempted suicide and was committed to a mental institution. After she had been there a few weeks my manager got to where he’d go by and check her out about once a week. They’d go back to his house, have sex, and then he’d take her back to the institution.
This had been going on for a while, and I finally asked him about it. I said something like “Damn Bill! You really think it’s O.K. to be taking this girl home and doing what you are doing?”
Bill: “Hell David, even the mentally ill like to have sex.”
So, I guess you can rationalize anything.
Tie her to the bed post
Enthusiastically spank her alabaster ass
She’ll show enthusiasm I guarantee
This woman is projecting her lack of enthusiasm on us
Sex is about letting go and being hypnotized by the moment and even submitting to varying degrees. Men too
A woman who at her core dislikes men or patrimony and all that
Is incapable of complete sexual surrender to a man and herself
Same goes for men to women too
If you don’t love women you can’t make love to them like they need and deserve
I think I could fix her with some rehabilitation time
Kindly but firmly
No matter how enthusiastic the participation, if the b@$t@rd didn’t call her the next day, it was rape!
Enthusiasm at that level would lead some to think that maybe the man was being raped. ;-)
Yes. But somehow it doesn’t sound like it would be quite as much fun
They are belittling women by claiming that they are incapable of consenting to sexual encounters.
But is it RAPE-rape if she isn’t “enthusiastic?”
“Mirrors on the ceiling, and pink champagne on ice”...
I think you’ve got it covered...
Have you been reading “Fifty Shades of Gray”?
That sure seems to be how the lezbos want to play it.
It ought to make a base-on-balls interesting though ....
What if both the “man” and the “woman” are transgendered? Then who is at fault?
Hinsliff is the same as those wacko feminists (Andrea Dworkin, Catherine McKinnon?) of yore who claimed all male-female sex was rape. At the core is their hatred of men. They would never say that (rape) about lesbian sex.
“So basically if the sex wasnt good then its rape...”
If bad sex were a crime, my ex would be doing forty-to-life
I haven’t read the article but if what you say is correct, it’s a shame you have gotten so few replies. :(
Ok, so if it no longer matters, why bother asking.
