Egalitarianism is the biggest lie Marx and his roving band of madmen perpetuated. Any society that buys it is doomed to descend into tyranny to make its procrustean promises reality.

Individual moral views notwithstanding, freedom to choose ("discrimination") is our right, our privilege, and our duty.

MLK helped give discriminating (freedom to choose) a bad name. But we as individuals have every constitutional right to choose and discriminate however we want.

The only constitutional limitation on choosing or discriminating is prohibition of STATE SEGREGATION laws against blacks (14th Amendment).

There is NO constitutional limitation on individual discrimination AT ALL.

As far as the feds are concerned, a state can discriminate against gays or anyone else except blacks. It is up to the citizens of each state how they want to deal with their own freedom to choose or “discrimination.”

This is correct and freedom of association is one of the core foundation blocks of our nation. Civil rights become tyrannical when they override individual rights. We could push to force accommodation of religious expression by everyone meaning that gay bakers would be compelled to make anti-same sex marriage and anti-gay cakes but that would be just doubling down on tyranny. The left of course like to use the “its discrimination” crap to push their ‘values’ on their opponents and to effectively shut them down. We need to push back hard. Their masks are off and they may think they have won this round but they have not. The polling data I’ve seen is showing that there is a big shift against the homofascists. The problem we have is balless Republicans.

The biggest problem is that the language has been twisted and perverted to the point that words no longer get interpreted as their designers intended.

It used to be a compliment if one was "a man of discrimination" as it inferred that one was able to make good choices by choosing the best from the worst.

Now it means that one is malicious towards a certain group of people (no matter that that same group calls for one's murder because one isn't "tolerant" enough to suit them) and is a hater/menace to a polite (tightly controlled by overlords) society.

I agree with this.

This whole discrimination and egalitarian BS is ruining us.

As it happens now, unfortunately, and mainly due to twisted interpretations of history and its implications, conservative white males have for generations accepted and helped perpetuate the premise that they are the ones to be targeted for discrimination by any and all entities, public and private, so that a de facto regime of black/brown/female/LGBT supremacy can reign over America

Money quote. It is amazing to me how many whites, conservative whites at that, just accept this. They accept that they and their children and grandchildren should be discriminated against. That they are somehow evil and deserve it. We have become very twisted in this nation.
