Something interesting. I'm about 10k ft here in the Rockies. A few weeks ago a four engine prop plane (maybe a C-130 gun ship?) came through about a half mile or so off flying tight on the terrain. Went by a day or so later again. You definitely hear that guy coming.

So this evening we're walking the dog and on the same path are four planes that look similar, but they are jets. They all followed each other and we never heard a sound. It was weird because they were fairly close and looked really big to be flying so close to the ground through the mountains.

Any idea what those birds are?

Don’t know....C-130s I guess. Can’t tell about the jets.
