I see nothing wrong with WHAT Phil said and HOW he is making the point.

Use this for context: Romans 1:18-31. IF YOU DO NOT - then read no further.

Phil purposely used a horrific scenario - horrific EVEN IN THE ATHEIST’S MIND - to make the point that EVEN THE ATHEIST would admit that there IS an Absolute Right and Wrong - Absolute Law - but he won’t acknowledge it is from God - for THEN he is accountable.

The example HAD to be extreme to remove all ‘nuance’ of situation ethics and moral equivalence. Romans 1 and other parts of the Bible make it clear that God has written HIS law on men’s hearts - whether they want to admit it or not.
