We know that the Obama administration is using their Operation Choke Point invention to intimidate a number of banks to cut-off funding of loans to legal small businesses like payday lenders and gun shop owners, businesses that libs like Obama and Holder frown on.
Its not even clear where they get the authority to do this, we know of no law passed that gives the justice department authority to do this.
An independent source writes :" It did this through subpoenas issued under Section 951 of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 (FIRREA), which authorizes the Attorney General to seek civil monetary penalties against entities that commit mail or wire fraud “affecting a federally insured financial institution.”

Once again the Obama/Holder administration is taking advantage of that fact that so many Americans are clueless and indifferent to anything that doesn't directly affect them (like their brainless entertainment), the Kardashian syndrome.
And its easy to hide and hard to sue over,
Well if the Republicans could get their act together they could win the presidency, then it might be payback time.
No loans for abortion clinics for example.
I’ve been telling my liberal aquaintances to think about what the next Republican President will be able to do with all of those new-found Obama powers. Until just recently, they laughed it off with the Daily Show line, “There will never be another Republican President!”
Now they are finally starting to consider it.
Pretty much the same here.
Many Dems are still convinced that the GOP can only win the midterm elections with low turnout, not the POTUS ones.
Their basis is the voter demographics, that the GOP got creamed by the non-white voters in 2008 and 2012.
I know Mark and Rush always indicate that it was white (they say 'conservative') voter poor turnout that caused that instead, but the numbers contradict that.
