Despite the massive reams of BS written in the tech press about “Spartan”, my guess is that “Spartan” is a VERY SPARTAN browser aimed mainly at the nearly non-existent Windows Phone market.

Despite the billions of BS words written, no one really knows what “Spartan” really is or really can do, since it hasn’t yet shown up in one of the Technical Review pre-releases of Windows 10.

I'm finding more and more reasons for not looking forward to Windows 10.

I gave up testing my Technical test version of 10 and decided that Microsoft is going to ape Apple in every respect. Following, not trying to lead. And directly influencing consumer decisions on which brand software to purchase and sites to visit.

Windows 10 seems as if it's going to be like joining a cult or checking into Hotel California. I'm going to be really really hesitant before upgrading from 7 Pro or 8.1 Pro, even if the upgrade is free.

Chrome is definitely better than FF memory wise. I need to completely dump anything from the Mozilla group anyway.

I’m looking to see how the MS Spartan browser stacks up, or I may just use Opera for my back-up browser.

I have to say that IE hasn’t been the dog that everybody thinks it is for a while..

Ummm Yes it is.

IE has sucked big time for a long time now. Try opening Forbes or the Wall Street Journal or any other script heavy site with it. Crash and Freeze

Hell, even opening Yahoo, IE won't let you scroll down for about a minute or two.

Tried Vivaldi? A new browser started by former founder of Opera for power users. Current Opera is for light users
