In one of them I wasn’t what they were looking for in more ways than one.
The reporter was a very cute young woman. After she cut the interview short I asked if I could take her out to dinner. She pretty much snorted an indignant “No”.
Saving my dignity I said “I’m too smart for you, hmm?” and quickly turned and started walking away. Her cameraman was laughing ... and I heard her say “go (eff) yourself, Ron”
That’s funny. Well, it sounds like you didn’t waste that dinner money. I wonder if she’s got a clue by now.
