Thank the public schools, and our universities for brainwashing our kids for 30-40 years. And don’t forget the feckless parents, who never bothered to audit their kids studies.
One of the reasons the Left thinks so little of the Right's mental abilities is the indisputable fact that it wasn't very hard for them to take over they key sectors of our national life.
Do not waste hatred on Obama, either. A far more worthy target is the GOP. We vote for Republicans on an entirely unfounded premise that they will fulfill their constitutional duties and represent our best interests. They do not.
There is no Conservative Party. Indeed we even fear starting one because we know that it will "split the Right, and we will be left with an even more dominant Democrat Party.
Perhaps we would be no worse off, but it is a hell of a risk. Back to square one. Take over local, county, and state government. If the Republic is to survive, the constitution probably has to be restored from the bottom up, or we will have top-down federal government forever.
