College station, tx was recommended as a good retirement town with nice places to live and things to do ( partly because of the school being there of course). I guess college station is off our search list now.

The most white states are Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, Vermont or New Hampshire.

The most black states are Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, Maryland, South Carolina, and Alabama.

I live in this area. It is a pretty good place, overall.The fact that something like this happened here shouldn’t be a reason to avoid Bryan/College Station, but should be a wake up call.It can happen anywhere, until people put a stop to it.

A fair number of McDonalds have been force transferred from their white owners to new black ownership, who are absentee to be generous. My friend’s daughter works at one of those transferred franchises, and she calls it Niggy D’s now.
