OK, so these guys all kissed a_ _ all the way through their careers, never standing up for the right thing or pushing back against the BS, and now they are heroes? How many soldiers have we lost with this stupid ROE and the idiot DoD priorities? Read the biographies of generals like Patton or Marshall, and you’ll see what real leadership looks like. These guys profiled in the article were willing to ride the train in first class all the way to disaster, and now they want to join the popular naysayer crowd, now that they have their pensions and cushy civilian jobs? There is a lot of traitorous behavior at work here.
