“In addition despite the claim that the measles vaccine is 97% effective if you have either 2 or 3 doses the actual field failure rate appears to be rather high. In other words are they’re lying about the effectiveness of the vaccine too?”

The writer has no idea about the subject they are writing about.

Yeah, that author seems pretty clueless.

We cannot know the actual “field failure rate” since we do not know the number of people exposed.

However, we can be sure that almost all of the unvaccinated who were exposed caught the disease, and that hardly any of the vaccinated caught it.

Measles will infect 90% of the unvaccinated.
Vaccination is 95-98% effective (it is more effective after the second dose).
