Liberals say they care, but they see nothing wrong with beating people down with who their ancestors or their judgement of the history of their ancestors.

They are so full of hate.

The reasons behind the Crusades were many and varied and certainly not always motivated to spread the Word of God or the absolute destruction of Islam (remember that Crusades were carried out against other states that were not Islamic). But, when the President accepts the Oath of Office, that person pledges mind, body, and soul to defending the People and Constitution of the United States whatever that’ person’s mind or beliefs may be.

His opinion on this matter, while in my opinion not entirely untrue (though making direct historical connections is a bit of a stretch), is potentially damaging to the general morale of the Republic and borderline seditious oratory.

Long story short - he needs to do some soul searching and figure out which side he’s on. ISIS doesn’t care either way. They want absolute power, treasure, blood, and the spread of Islam everywhere through force of arms. He needs to understand this isn’t a debate match. It’s a war.

This also isn’t the 12th century. It’s not acceptable and the American people, far removed by time, culture, and geography from such things, are not responsible for the misdeeds of the Crusader States, the medieval Papacy, or the organizations that arose during that time.

I could go on - but I’m not saying anything you all don’t already know. I’m just angry.

This goober of a President also is amazing to me, because, not unlike my ex-wife, I am consistently stunned by the ever-ramped up levels of stupidity and arrogance he will ascend/descend to.

I keep thinking “nobody could actually obtain this office and still do dumber and dumber things.”

I’m consistently proven wrong. I really didn’t care for our last President. Liked Sr., but not Jr.

Whatever W did wrong in the White House, he wasn’t a traitor. In fact, I can’t remember a President since Carter who would say such things. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Being Christian and white is a good thing. Other races and faiths should try it.

Outside of the most common genocides you hear about, most seem to have forgotten about the 3 million Christians (Armenian, Assyrian, and Greek) that were slaughtered by the Turks in World War I.
