My mother received a fake IRS call yesterday... Saying she's being sued by the IRS and she can pay over the phone by debit card. She knew it was fake and reported it buy it sounded professional, automated message.

The idiot's mother fell for a scam that is or has been going around. I had been getting a call like that also, but I have a specific ringtone on my Samsung android for numbers that I do not recognize. When I did not answer the creep left a voice mail on my phone. I had been driving so I waited until I got home and than listened to the voice mail. The creep had a foreign accent and threatened me that if I don't call back or have my attorney contact him I would be in trouble. He ended it with wishing me good luck. After I did a search for the number via Bing I added it to my reject list on my phone and deleted the voice mail
