Obama's proposed budget would raise taxes by over $6,000 per person. But only half the country pays taxes so it's really $12,000 per taxpayer. In my family there are three of us left, so that's $36,000. And in addition to raising taxes, he increases the deficit by about the same amount, for another $36,000 from my family and who knows when that is going to be collected. It's unsustainable and the sooner we crash this welfare system, the better. One way to do that is for all the producers to stop producing.

But, as a Christian, I can reconcile by working hard to feed and care for my family off grid, thereby depriving the government of as much tax money as I can, even if I don't take advantage of what the government is giving away. I see nothing un-Christian about living a quiet self sustaining country life.
