She was given it at 12 years of age. Something that the proponents of legal use promised would never and could never happen.

Was pot legal in her state 7 years ago?

Legalization has nothing to do with it... it's always been available, and always will be... legal or not. Addiction is addiction, regardless of the substance-du-jour. One needs to deal with the addiction itself.

BS, a little girl shouldn't be exposed to that kind of situation in the first place. Period.

Let me repeat, she was a little girl when she started.

And I guarantee that more little children will be exposed with the proliferation since legalization. Because there are many adults that are not as careful as yourself.

dhs12, prayers up for your family, including your daughter. Eastforker is right that it doesn't mean she was raised improperly. Each soul put on earth has its own row to hoe with regard to the challenges the Almighty put in front of it. May the Lord's light rest on you and bless you.

Cement -- YES. Blaming the booze, the pot, the "disease," for the problem is like blaming a gun for a shooting. The alcohol isn't what spoiled a beloved's life, and blaming it on the alcohol has given him a sympathetic out.

It's all behavioral. It's very difficult to accept. Thinking of it as a disease relieves self-responsibility, but if addiction is a disease, it's self-inflicted and self-cured, even if that self-cure requires the Lord. The truth is that addiction is behavioral, and in it lies as best a "solution" as one can find.

Ya, but in true form, you supporters of legal pot blamed the girl.

Classic.
