When God told Jonah to go and carry His message to those in Nineveh, Jonah considered them to be too bad to deserve a chance at redemption. Jonah tried to run in the other direction - how did that work out?

I am starting to believe that many that identify as Christians have no real concept of how God would have them respond to sinners so they opt to stare down their noses and write them off as lost souls so they can feel more "godly" themselves. The pharisees are still alive and well and the words of Christ calling them hypocrites rings loudly and widely.

If many Christians were doctors, they would tell the ill to heal themselves then come in to tell us how it went...
