Apparently she’s the one who doesn’t shower. In my experience, most blacks are obsessive about personal hygiene.
They do not shower that often.
They use skin lotion over time to keep the skin from appearing ashy, and when ladies get a hair do, they do not wash it for a very long time. They use pink moisturizer in lieu of washing it, and stepping into a hot shower will cause it to unstraighten.
I know for a fact that they can go as long as a month without washing their hair in order not to lose a perm.
That’s my experience too. Blacks may not wash their hair as frequently (and don’t have to), but they aren’t skipping showers or baths.
She’s only 1/4 black. And she’s definitely NOT GUILTY.
I’ve always found black people meticulous in their appearance. I’m not talking about hoodlums or Whoopie Goldberg, of course, but ordinary black people are extremely clean. This woman’s a jerk.
Subject : dreadlocks - I am curious as to how often people with these tiny braids all over their heads actually shampoo. Does anyone know? I would think shampooing these dreadlocks would cause the hair to frizz up and hair to become loose, and this would result in a less neat head of hair.
But - when one is young, the body naturally produces lots of oils. I cannot believe it could be possible to go more than a few weeks without shampooing when one is still young. En inquiring mind want to know.
I once worked with a very attractive woman with blonde hair and a model’s face and figure who would often come to work out of breath just in time to avoid being late. She would be heard to utter: “didn’t have time to shower so I just did a PTA wash”. I found out what PTA wash meant and almost fell out of my chair. For a guy I guess the equivalent would be a CBA wash.
