The same spirit that was behind the original Kristallnact is the same spirit that is behind the present incidents of terrorism blamed on Jewish existence.

What I see is a handful of zombie looking people murdering smiling good-looking young men, law enforcement, and artists. I think referencing that event from WWII is an incorrect analogy, I would look instead to France’s own history to understand why they have willfully decided to be stupid here. This is the country responsible for the Huguenot diaspora (which is to say much of France’s talent pool). They brought in other groups (some of which worked, some of which didn’t) and now seem to have swallowed a poisoned pill.
