I’d suggest buying them gift cards for a nice coffee place or etc. because (and I mean no offense) they might not be too trusting of any food items they get from a stranger.

In the present Al Sharpton-Holder-Obama-Can’t-Breath political environment, if I were a uniformed cop, I definitely wouldn’t eat anything given to me by a stranger.
But its a nice thought

Great idea, Megan...on the gift cards.
Thanks, woofie, for the idea of showing our thanks to our brave policemen and women.

Gotta agree with you maam. Just after this past Thanksgiving our parents (I'm one of Mr. n Mrs. Progunner's daughters), went over to Mississippi to see some family members. While they were gone an of duty Sheriff came into our gunshop needing a repair on his hunting rifle. While I was fitting it a new sear sis brought out some left over pumpkin pie and coffee and that led to a closely related conversation. On the job he wouldn't have accepted anything

Sending a pizza or two to the station house once in awhile probably would be very appreciated.
