No I did not hear about that. Could it have been a “date” gone wrong?
I don’t get it ?
After all, Stalinist provocateur and reputed intellectual Susan Sontag had said it back in 1966 in a national news magazine (and these things fester if they are not addressed),
"The Caucasian race is the cancer of the planet. "Many black separatists and black racists have said similar things, and that is why she said it, as a recruiting billboard for the CPUSA, aimed at blacks. Like Van Jones, F'r example.
Lots of hatred there, not all of it based in real beeves w/ whites. But liberalism and Leftist generally have specifically sanctioned and justified "Black Rage". They've made several movies justify it -- eg. "A Time to Kill", "Durango Unchained", "Do the Right Thing".
"Django Unchained" not "Durango". Trouble with "autocorrect", which I call "Spell**cker".
I'd love to turn it off, it's a real liability.
Apologies for the redundant post.
We have, thanks in large part to slavery and to liberal big-government programs, very little in the way of historic record of blacks being left to stand on their own and demonstrate it.
This is incorrect. The so-called "race films" of the '40's and early '50's, which were produced by black producers and directors using almost all black talent, without the taint of PC/Communist meme-grinding, showed intact black society before the malefic influence of orthodox liberalism began to maim and poison it. The films, moreover, were shot in black parts of real American cities and towns, so that real black society supplied the mise en scene and "atmospheric specialists" </off jargon> (extras).
Most of white society had never heard of these films when Roger Ebert limelit a previously specialist interest in old films on his TV show about 12 years ago.
Thanks for the link. I recall the account of this murder but had no inkling of the Swindling Pervert Liars Club connection.
BTW, if you ever see Dees on TV turn the sound off and study his visage. He presents a naked manifestation of evil.
People who have run their car out of gas at night. I've put gas in a can, at night, twice that I can immediately recall. Neither time was to refuel the weedeater, snowblower, lawnmower or chainsaw.
You mean, when Jim Crow and other measures were still in place.
Why, yes. And your point is?
My point is, the old race films showed a black society that had grown up and, to some extent, thriven if not prospered, under the worst of hardcore Jim Crow laws. Even given social and legal inequality of the two societies, black (or "colored", as people preferred to say) society was moving ahead, just as Bookerism had promised for three generations that they would.
That was before the liberals and the Bolsheviks got "a-holt" of them.
My point is that blacks in America went straight from being supervised and kept in line by whites, to being largely dependent on the welfare state. There was never any period where they basically stood on their own and demonstrated what I mentioned earlier.
Incidentially, I just happened to come across this in a comment on another article:
5 December 1957
Some Things We Must Do, Address Delivered at the 2nd Annual Institute on Nonviolence
Montgomery, Ala.
“Now we must admit that we have some weaknesses (Yes) and some shortcomings (Yeah), and we must seek to gain the respect of others by improving on our shortcomings. (Yes) Now I realize, and I want to say this quickly, because I see a reporter here and I dont want to be misquoted. I want to say quickly that I realize that these standards in which we lag behind, whether they are cultural, whether they are moral, criminal, or what not, they are like they are because of segregation; I know that. (Thats right, yeah) They are here because of segregation (Yes); segregation is the causal factor.”
“Let us be honest with ourselves, and say that we, our standards have lagged behind at many points. Negroes constitute ten percent of the population of New York City, and yet they commit thirty-five percent of the crime. St. Louis, Missouri: the Negroes constitute twenty-six percent of the population, and yet seventy-six percent of the persons on the list for aid to dependent children are Negroes. We have eight times more illegitimacy than white persons. Weve got to face all of these things. We must work to improve these standards. We must sit down quietly by the wayside, and ask ourselves: Where can we improve?
Two, socialism as a social experiment had been underway for 15 or 20 years by 1957 in the big cities, especially New York City and St. Louis. If he'd quoted stats from smaller cities with "racial problems" (Jim Crow problems) like Tulsa and Little Rock and Montgomery, the numbers might not have been as supportive as his concession argues, for the idea that Nero social slippage was due to the evil influence of Jim Crow, rather than to the solicitous ministrations of corporative (ie. fascist) socialism.
