Parents in Farmville, North Carolina want to know why their children were given a Common Core vocabulary assignment in an English class that promoted the Prophet Muhammad and the Islamic faith.

“It really caught me off guard,” a Farmville Central High School student who was in the class told me. “If we are not allowed to talk about any other religions in school – how is this appropriate?”

The Islamic vocabulary worksheet was assigned to seniors.

“I was reading it and it caught me off guard,” the student told me. “I just looked at it and knew something was not right – so I emailed the pages to my mom.”

I have totally had it with these people. I would go up to the school and tear up the lesson in front of the teacher and administrators

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Jeb and Huck either aren’t familiar with common core content or they are and still approve of it. Whichever it is, their support for it is wrong.

In Farmville.

Meanwhile, in Denmark schools, one must not mention the farm — because they have pigs.

You would be arrested for destroying government property and behavior in a threatening manner.

Remember! Government schools are the government.

The only reform possible to begin privatizing all education, on every level, in this nation. What is needed is complete separation of school and state.

What you suggested is essentially homeschooling after school. The common term now used for this phenomena is “afterschooling”.

Afterschooling is more work and more time and harder than just plain homeschooling.

Common core was designed by IDIOTS and is being taught by FOOLS. The socialist leaders in Washington has turned what was an educational system into a indoctrination. Our new congress should change the name of the Dept. of Education into the Indoctrination Center of USSA.

I wonder if they would teach equally about the Resurrection.

There is no doubt in my mind Islam will take over the world. And for some reason our politicians are complicit. I don’t get it.

Even with the surveillance systems that are being put into place, it is not possible for the global government, which is a feudalist/fascist hybrid, to exert complete control over every single unit of labor, hence the overt advocacy by even our so-called "leaders" of this fascist-friendly cult.

Why pay for extra MRAPS to patrol the streets when bearded savages with canes will do it for free.

This is what the people in the shadows who truly run the world expect of their Bush and Clinton style puppets.

What many do not realize is that once your child crosses the threshold of the school, you lose all rights regarding what happens to your child there. I’m not competent in Latin, so bear with me, the legal term for the school at that point is “En Parentus Locus”, at least, that is what is sounded like to me. Meaning that when your child is in school, you have legally handed your parental rights to the school. The school has absolutely no legal obligation to get parental approval for anything because they are the “parent” while children are on school property.

So, you can get mad and protest any assignment and at best, they will just ignore you & dismiss your concerns. They may also get a restraining order against you, banning you from school property or have you arrested for behaving in a threatening manner. No parent has any say in the curriculum at a public school.
