The judge decides whether or not to suspend or revoke the permit and has local law enforcement confiscate the guns.

So the permit doesn't actually permit you to have a gun? Sounds like it just tells the cops where to look.

from foxnews:
“The Syracuse Post-Standard reported last week that since the law’s enactment, the state has collected 38,718 names in a database of individuals who have been found at-risk for owning guns by psychiatrists and other health professionals.

The paper said when the database was checked against a list of pistol permit holders in the state, there were 278 matches, less than 1 percent.”

Is there an attorney who can say what the likelihood is that such a “hearing” would be considered an “ex parte” hearing?

Does Neu Yuk Stadt have the authority to hold such a hearing absent immediate, credible, risk sufficient to overcome the barriers once considered to have been found in the Constitution?

Same tactics when the military did not want us to ride motorcycles. Doing the never ending paper work packet for proper authorization invited scrutiny, harassment and additional bad points for promotion. Those who rode outside of it with their own insurance never had problems.

When the State fixes prices and conditions for private life, blackmailing, a war is declared.

It is like registering gun owners as if they had ebola or were peophiles.

There was an article of a gun d;ealer helping the ATF track illegal purchases and he was disgusted in that they treated him with worse contempt than the DEA would a drug dealer informant. He was a criminal intheir eyes.

I bet the cops in NYC look at the compliant citizens with similar contempt
