“absolute devaluation of black life in America”, no mention that more black youth are murdered by thier own in gang violence but they continue to protect, encourage and support the thug life, this is ok.
“fight for reforms in the criminal justice system”, the reforms they seek are a get out of jail free card because of the color of thier skin.
“it's a matter of making the privileged uncomfortable, The fight is on”. News for the ditz who wrote this crap,White middle class families are privileged? then young black middle class families are privileged also. Will you make them uncomfortable to? or because they are black they get a free pass because they earned thier privilege The problem here is RESPONSIBLITY. not a one wants to be so they point the finger at the white priviledged for thier ills instead of looking at themselves and ask why they are in a sh## hole they cant get out of.

Dr. Thorne, right-wing crank
How do you feel about the decision? This is the correct decision when all information made public has been considered. When someone assaults a police officer and grabs the officer's gun, that person can expect that he might be shot. Officer Wilson had the same right to self-defense as any other citizen, regardless of his employment. Had I been in the same situation, I would have directed fire on this huge young thug until he stopped moving.
What can we do to move forward? Hopefully, this is an object lesson in reality for the black community. Obey the law, be respectful of law enforcement officers, get a job, work hard = it is unlikely you'll get shot.
Break the law, be disrespectful of law enforcement officers, be a lazy thug, get high a lot = you might get shot. Michael Brown is your role model. Any potential he had for a good life, he threw away for nothing.

Well, the way I figger it, there was a time when the commies and malcontents were freaks in our society, and we could have contained them, but most normal folk thought that would be too mean so we backed down. Then, the freaks metastasized.

It may look that way, just judging by the size of the protests on the streets. However, in 1968, the protesting freaks were confined to the streets. In 2014, they are also inside the White House, Congress, the Justice Department, the nightly newsroom, the corporate boardroom, etc.

This country has shown time and time again that black life is invaluableSo what's your beef? Invaluable means "Irreplaceable unique, invaluable, priceless, unrepeatable, one-of-a-kind, incomparable, unparalleled;
Oh, you didn't learn that in school?
Oh, you only went through fifth grade?

The decision to not indict Darren Wilson is infuriating, frightening, and maddening. This country has shown time and time again that black life is invaluable. in·valu·able
: valuable beyond estimation
: priceless - providing invaluable assistance

This country has shown time and time again that black life is invaluable. Tsk tsk...
This semi-literate black "executive director" doesn't even know the difference between "invaluable" and "worthless..."

If they really think black life is so valuable, why aren’t they protesting black people aborting so much of it?

If the author wants to know what is responsible for the deaths of Martin and Brown,
she should take a long, hard look in the mirror.
The BGI inculcates young men like Martin and Brown
with hatred, resentment and no sense of personal responsibilty.
Look at the poor child in this image...
What is she being taught?
