<> I'm the writer, I have a wife and four little kids. The issue here is that there are those who believe that their beard defines their masculinity. I'm not writing about a bunch of old codgers who have had beards their entire life or the Duck Dynasty people who are generally fairly old. I'm writing about young people who are wearing beards in large numbers. They're doing so in a desperate attempt to regain their masculinity from a overly feminized society and/or a society that really hates men and masculinity. I'm suggesting they're going about it in all the wrong ways. A beard doesn't make a man, how he treats women, loves his children and most importantly how much he loves Christ makes a man.
