I think there are plenty of indications that there is potential for LENR to be used a power source, but I think a commercial grade product available on the market is needed before we can be fully confident.

While I agree with you, there are several outlandish claims being made related to this. One is that a by-product of the reaction is the presence of copper, when none is part of the device to start with.

Here is where the smell of quackery comes in.

This hints that the copper present is the result of transmuting from other elements. This is troubling, as light elements such as copper are not known to be created outside of a stellar mass at intense temperatures and pressures. This produces copper at 1 bar of atmosphere and a paltry 1500C.

If this is true, then this would turn our understanding of physics and the universe on it’s head.

As a result, I reserve judgement.
