At the link below, there's a discussion of a controversy Margaret Thatcher got into, commenting on the French Revolution, that it did almost nothing for the poor of France, it was just another opportunity for a greedy special interest group to pillage the nation's assets, the traditional institutions of monarchy and church had largely served to protect the poor. There was adverse reaction among the elites in France to Mrs. Thatcher's remarks, but among the rural French, especially in the Vendee, there was agreement with what she said.

When news of the 99 percenters and Occupy Wall Street broke, I predicted that George Soros was behind it, and posted as such on my Facebook, three days before confirmation of that fact appeared in the news.
