I know what you mean. You click on the “comments” button and it just stays on the same page. I refuse to “register” with disqus, facebook or any of those. I used to comment on Politico when it had its own registration system.

I think some of those sites use Disqus to power the comments. If your flash is broken or obsolete it’s possible for the page to load but the comments to not show.
