In the wake of historic congressional midterm losses that cost Democrats control of the U.S. Senate, President Barack Obama's inner circle says he remains defiant and unwilling to face the seismic post-election reality.
"He doesn't feel repudiated," an Obama aide told the New York Times' Peter Baker.

Whether Democrats can convince Obama to back off his threats to go it alone in enacting executive amnesty in the wake of Democrats' Tuesday night election debacle remains to be seen. But for now, Obama insiders say he remains fixed on maintaining the status quo. Indeed, even before Tuesday night's results rolled in, Obama blamed the looming losses, not on his unpopularity dragging down Democrats, but on the electoral map.

If Obama acts like Hitler or Mussolini for 2 more years, he will basically destroy the current rat political power structure.
To Obola, those are compliments, not insults! It means he is doing his job to destroy the United States.
This is a dangerous period. Bill Clinton at least lived in the real world enough to pivot. Obama may feel like you-know-who in the bunker in Berlin, and feel betrayed by a people not worthy of his genius. The result could be Dear Leader’s own version of Gotterdammerung. He may attempt to punish his unworthy subjects. For starters, the open borders will be open even wider, even to disease-carriers from every continent. And illegal executive amnesty is going to happen, as Obama dares the GOPe to defy him.
Obama will either go full on scorched earth, or he’ll be found with his feet swinging in the breeze.
He’s always defiant. That’s one of his many, major problems. He’ll want to stick it to the American people and it won’t go over well.

I can believe that. Obama has narcissistic tendencies. If the voters rejected his policies it's because (in his mind) they don't understand them. I think McConnell actually said something similar - Obama woke up this morning and saw the world no differently than yesterday. It will be interesting to see what actually gets done in the next two years. Personally I'll be glad if gridlock is the result - keep activists off the court, prevent more big spending.

Executive amnesty should be followed by Congress stopping all spending in that effort.
