Any bozo can pretend to be “right with Jesus Christ.” Anyone who votes for or endorses a politician because he’s “right with Jesus” is also a bozo.

What matters is what the politician will do in office. I’ll take an insincerely pro-life Mormon cultist over a sincere baby-murderer any day.
There’s more to being “right with Jesus” than simply proclaiming him as savior. Faith without works is dead. So if we’re talking about a pol who claims faith but also supports baby killing, we’re not talking about an actual Christian. We have to look beyond a simple declaration of faith.
