The disease of uncontrollable government spending (and the progressive state it supports) can be cured very easily.
End the Federal Reserve and return to non-fiat money. No more money printing, no more politicized interest rates, and no more massive gov’t debt means government will naturally shrink.
With this article, I have a big problem with Ben Carson.
As a physician...an educated man ostensibly a Conservative, the FIRST analogy that should have come from him is ‘Government Spending is a Cancer’, not an incurable disease.
The cancer has spread to retirees of the Baby Boom generation and spreading exponentially through the population.
I thought Ben could address the problems in DC; I guess I was wrong.
As Dr. Carson can verify, withdrawal of tax money results in cessation of government funding(spendulation). While short term spendulation may occur after withdrawal of tax funding, eventually, spendulation ceases.
Fine man. Brave. Many are impressed by his resume which is fine. What we need is someone who is brave enough to point to Cloward Piven. As Lincoln said, if we should ever be undone it will be we, ourselves who commit suicide. Our next Reagan needs to point this out. The folks who started the ball rolling on this spending were enemies within. THAT is your “correct diagnosis”. We let them suck our blood for decades. Repairing the damage will take decades, likely. Failing to point this out, ignoring history, will put a Band Aid on an arterial bleeder. It may slow the dying down but it won’t stop it.
