I make about a quart of cold pressed add water and store it in the fridge. In the morning I heat myself a cup and it’s smooth as silk. The cold press process takes out the bitterness. Anyway, to each his own.
Interesting...I will have to try this. Thanks!
Any particular type of coffee or grind you would recommend for pour-over method?
Idiots coffee.
I was blessed to get one as a gift, all I can say is oh my, is it ever. Never bitter, something else going on with the caffeine, no more jags from it. I add the cream with the coffee and add the hot water then press it. Try it with Dunkin Donuts coffee, smooth. Also try it with butter instead of cream, if you run out ( pre melt the butter ) I am no yuppie, but this process is that different. You can get an inexpensive French Press for $20-something $$$'s....
That’s a perfect description.
Seems fitting, seeing as their coffee tastes like Azz!
Seems to be a nonyuppie consensus that there’s something to the coldpressed method. Might be worth trying.
But here’s how the cooks in my reserve unit made coffee in the field: a kettle of boiling water & a #2 can of G.I. coffee grounds, boiled for however long, and then they dumped in a bag of ice which would `shock the grounds’ meaning send it to the bottom, and then ladeled into our canteen cups. Best coffee I can remember.
Starbucks = Buttjuice.
Oh, I disagree. I like my coffee very strong, and French press is far better than filter for that.
A “Venti faggucino with room for sodomy”???
I think NOT!
I’ve said for over a decade that Starbucks uses poor quality beans and over roasts them, making a bitter, acidic, and overpriced coffee.
Dunking Donuts and McCafe has superior coffee at a much better price.

Me too-—strong,black,and unsweetened.
I just put more coffee than suggested in the filter..
.
Oh mercy! What ugly and scary he-shes. The first one who was trying to take cuts look like he/she was trying to avoiding peeing in her/his panties. And the second tranny-clown faced smarty reminded me of an uppity Kathy Griffin.
Recently, I had the occasion to go to Starbucks to buy my sister her annual gift card (she loves their pumpkin lattes). If there were two gruesome scissor sisters in line, I would have tried to keep from freaking out and left, getting as much distance between me and their over-zealous application of eau de cologne from Jessica Simpson.
When in S Florida one should always...I mean always try Cafe Cubano!!!!!!!!!!!
Walk up to the street window of a Cuban joint...say..Una colada por favor....then enjoy a great treat!!!
A plus is there isnt many fags around Cuban cafes....
Starbucks has the worst coffee I’ve ever had. You couldn’t pay me to drink this bilge water. Enough, Starbucks!
Two buildings down from my office is a gay resort and on the front door there's a sign saying:'Enter in rear.'
My middle son thinks it is funny.
I like Kawha and Buddy Brew coffee...two small coffee chains in the Tampa Bay Area...
Wawa is great... I love their coffee too...
