I’ve been hearing talk of doing the same in Jackson as well.
Next on the agenda is ditching the full time legislature.
This is the NUMBER 1 issue that I’m voting on.
Our city government is stocked with left-wing nuts that have been working the past few years to assemble together a voting block of blue state transplants and Obamabots in the inner city to out vote the rest of the city. They have successfully used them to hike taxes twice, and they want to use them in order to remain in office since there are no term limits.
Our “mayor” has been in office for a decade, and needs to hit the road along with several city commissioners that have become too comfortable in those seats.
The only thing that prevents Grand Rapids from becoming Madison is the fact that these rubes don’t have the keys to all of the city. We have a City Manager that takes care of many of the city functions.
